Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking an experienced Nail Technician to join their Northridge Mall Salon team in the Free State Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nail services, building a loyal client base, and promoting the salon’s offerings.

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain a clientele base.

Promote and create awareness of nail treatments offered.

Deliver exceptional manicures, pedicures, and nail painting techniques.

Report on customer compliments and complaints.

Conduct and promote monthly salon specials.

Achieve monthly treatment and product sales targets.

Attend training to stay updated on new products and techniques.

Manage stock levels and ensure proper merchandising.

Complete accurate monthly reports and maintain customer cards.
Qualifications:

Grade 11 / Matric or Senior Certificate.

Nail Technician Certificate (gel and acrylic).

At least 2 years’ technical experience in a professional beauty/nail salon.

Willingness and ability to work retail hours.
Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of nail technology, correct product application, and contra-indications.

Strong English communication skills; bilingualism advantageous.

Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.

Trustworthy, honest, and target-driven.

Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
