Responsibilities:

Assist Millwrights with daily maintenance on mechanical and electrical machinery

Support breakdown repairs by preparing tools, parts, and materials

Perform basic mechanical and electrical work under supervision

Maintain a clean and organized workshop and tool area

Interpret technical drawings and follow safety procedures

Take accurate measurements and record relevant data

Execute planned preventative maintenance tasks

Assist with equipment modifications to improve reliability

Engage in basic electrical maintenance, including fault finding on cables and conductors
Qualifications:

Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
-
Basic understanding of mechanical concepts and tools

Physically fit and able to work extended hours on foot

Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and be on standby

Reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and a strong team player

Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills
