    • Job Title: Lecturer – Higher Certificate in Business Management (Accounting) (Part-Time)
    • Location: Remote

      Responsibilities 

    • Deliver lectures and engage students based on module-specific requirements.

    • Track module progress, monitor student engagement, and identify at-risk students.

    • Provide academic support and feedback through learning management systems.

    • Assist with the development of assessments and track academic results.

    • Attend academic meetings and participate in professional development activities.

    • Support the Programme Coordinator in evaluating module performance and implementing interventions for at-risk students.

    Qualifications:

    • 3-year Diploma or Degree in Accounting.

    • 2–3 years lecturing or formal tutoring experience.

    • 1–3 years industry-specific experience advantageous.

    • Qualification should be one NQF level higher than the qualification being taught.

    • Copy of academic transcript required.

    Key Competencies:

    • Knowledge of South African higher education systems and regulatory frameworks.

    • Understanding of teaching and learning theories and interventions.

    • Ability to support students and work with digital academic platforms.

    • Adaptability to changing environments and adherence to work regulations.

    • Deadline-oriented with effective time management skills.

    Working Hours:

    • Flexible, remote distance learning model with pre-recorded classes and online student interaction.
