Responsibilities
Deliver lectures and engage students based on module-specific requirements.
Track module progress, monitor student engagement, and identify at-risk students.
Provide academic support and feedback through learning management systems.
Assist with the development of assessments and track academic results.
Attend academic meetings and participate in professional development activities.
Support the Programme Coordinator in evaluating module performance and implementing interventions for at-risk students.
Qualifications:
3-year Diploma or Degree in Accounting.
2–3 years lecturing or formal tutoring experience.
1–3 years industry-specific experience advantageous.
Qualification should be one NQF level higher than the qualification being taught.
Copy of academic transcript required.
Key Competencies:
Knowledge of South African higher education systems and regulatory frameworks.
Understanding of teaching and learning theories and interventions.
Ability to support students and work with digital academic platforms.
Adaptability to changing environments and adherence to work regulations.
Deadline-oriented with effective time management skills.
Working Hours:
Flexible, remote distance learning model with pre-recorded classes and online student interaction.
