Job Overview
The Central University of Technology, Free State is seeking a suitably qualified Lecturer: Clinical Sciences to join the Department of Clinical Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing academic material, delivering lectures, assessing students, conducting research and participating in community projects.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Teaching, learning and assessment.
- Student evaluation.
- Conducting and contributing to research activities.
- Academic and departmental administration.
- Control and organisation of academic activities.

- Developing academic material for allocated subjects.
- Delivering lectures for own and other relevant programmes.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A relevant Master’s-level qualification (NQF Level 9 or equivalent) in one of the following:

- Health Governance
- Community or Public Health Management
- Public Health
- At least 2 years’ teaching, lecturing or industry experience relevant to the subject fields.
Recommended Requirements
Preference may be given to candidates with:
- Evidence of progress towards a Doctoral degree.
- A recognised publication, research output, innovation or creative output.
Salary and Benefits
The minimum total cost-to-company salary is R816 162 per annum.
