Job Description
Fidelity Services Group is looking for an ATM Custodian to be responsible for the safe handling and custodianship of cash to and from ATMs and the relevant cash centre.
The successful candidate will have full responsibility for the cash under their control, including deposits and retained ATM cards returned to the cash centre. The role also involves replenishing ATMs with cash and stationery to ensure high ATM availability, while maintaining strict security and cash-handling procedures.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Loading and servicing ATMs on a daily basis.
- Safely securing and accounting for all cash transactions.
- Handling cash accurately and completing daily balancing.
- Replenishing ATM cash and stationery.
- Attending to technical faults on ATMs.
- Ensuring all client assets are securely protected.
- Following all prescribed key-control procedures.
- Completing required scanning and transaction-tracking operations.
- Interacting with clients and providing assistance where required.
- Maintaining high standards of quality and service.
- Ensuring cash and related assets remain secure at all times.
- Performing additional duties as required by operational needs.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Clear criminal record.
- PSIRA accreditation – at least Grade B.
- Completed firearm training for handgun and rifle.
- Valid SAPS competency certificate.
- CIT (Cash-In-Transit) certificate.
- Previous experience in the security industry or a similar role.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Computer literate.
