Position Summary
Provide technical support during procedures in operating theatres, hybrid theatres, and Cath Labs.
Support the use of Medtronic medical technologies across hospitals in the Free State and Northern Cape.
Work closely with surgeons, theatre staff, hospital personnel, and Medtronic sales and marketing teams.
Ensure products, equipment, and systems are prepared and functioning correctly during procedures.
Provide technical support only; no clinical decision-making or patient management.
Primary Clinical Focus
- Open spine procedures.
- Spinal implant surgeries.
- Powered surgical instruments.
- Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR).
- Thoracic Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (TEVAR).
- Peripheral vascular interventions.
- TruClear hysteroscopic tissue removal procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Nursing
- Life Sciences
- Biomedical Science
- Biomedical Engineering
- Or a related healthcare/scientific discipline
Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in:
- Medical device industry, or
- Hospital environment
- Experience in:
- Operating theatres (OR)
