Job Description
TFG is seeking energetic, enthusiastic and hardworking Seasonal Sales Associates to join the Jet team at Kort Street in Parys during the festive season.
The successful candidates will help create an enjoyable shopping experience by assisting customers, promoting merchandise, achieving sales targets and ensuring the store remains well-stocked and ready for customers.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about retail, enjoy working with people and can perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Represent the Jet brand professionally and deliver an excellent customer shopping experience.
Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products and solutions.
Work towards achieving sales targets and monitor individual sales performance.
Promote and sell a diverse range of clothing and other merchandise.
Keep up to date with current fashion and décor trends.
Identify opportunities to generate additional sales.
Replenish merchandise promptly to ensure the store remains fully stocked and customer-ready.
Respond to customer enquiries and resolve complaints efficiently.
Maintain a customer-focused approach throughout all store activities.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support store performance.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
Previous experience in a retail environment.
A Matric certificate is advantageous but not stated as compulsory.
Must be a South African citizen.
Excellent communication and selling skills.
A positive, enthusiastic and can-do attitude.
A strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative.
A passion for retail and fashion is advantageous.
A sales-driven and customer-focused approach.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
Ability to handle customer enquiries and complaints efficiently.
Willingness to work retail hours, including applicable weekends and busy trading periods.
Reliable transport.
Must be available to start immediately.
