Job Overview
Sanlam is seeking a professional and organised Personal Assistant to provide administrative and secretarial support to the Business Manager at SanlamConnect.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Business Manager’s diary and office activities, coordinating meetings and travel, preparing documents and reports, and handling various administrative requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the office and Business Manager’s diary.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and information.
- Make and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Organise and prepare meetings, functions, presentations, conferences, workshops and video conferences.
- Prepare and distribute documents for meetings and events.
- Take and distribute meeting minutes.
- Consolidate and provide relevant reports.
- Provide secretarial support to the Business Manager.
- Handle ad hoc administrative requests.
- Ensure administrative activities are completed efficiently and on time.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12.
- A Secretarial Qualification or Diploma.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a secretarial or Personal Assistant role.
- Previous experience in a sales environment will be advantageous.
Knowledge & Technical Skills
Candidates should have experience with:
- Service Request System (SRS).
- Amex Travel system.
- Computer literacy, particularly advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Diary and office management.
- Meeting and event coordination.
- Document preparation and reporting.
