A global marketing agency is seeking a skilled Webflow Designer to join their remote team, working during EST/Mountain Time business hours. The role involves designing and building visually engaging, responsive websites for clients across multiple industries. The ideal candidate is highly creative, detail-oriented, experienced with Webflow, and strong in UI/UX design. This is a full-time, fixed-term remote position open to candidates based in South Africa.
Job Summary
The Webflow Designer will collaborate closely with clients and internal marketing teams to produce high-quality website designs aligned with brand guidelines. This includes creating UI/UX layouts, developing sites within Webflow, optimizing performance, ensuring responsive design, and recommending continual improvements. Strong communication skills, a solid design portfolio, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Development

Create visually appealing, user-centered website designs.

Develop and implement designs directly in Webflow.

Ensure full responsiveness and cross-device compatibility.

Apply strong UI/UX principles to all projects.
Client & Team Collaboration

Work with marketing teams and clients to understand project goals and requirements.

Present designs clearly and professionally to clients.

Collaborate with team members to enhance site performance and user experience.
Website Optimization & Maintenance

Monitor website performance regularly.

Recommend and implement improvements to enhance functionality, load speed, and engagement.
Minimum Requirements
Experience & Portfolio

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Webflow Designer.

Strong portfolio showcasing design and Webflow development work (mandatory).
Technical Skills

Proficiency in Webflow (core requirement).

Good understanding of:
— UI/UX principles
— HTML & CSS
— JavaScript (advantageous) -
Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, or similar.
Communication & Soft Skills

Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions.

Ability to explain design decisions clearly.

Strong time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team.
