Job Description
As a Truck Assistant, you will work closely with the driver and operations team to ensure smooth daily deliveries. You will be responsible for handling goods, assisting with navigation, verifying deliveries, and maintaining truck condition.
This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
Loading & Unloading
- Assist with loading goods onto the truck
- Offload goods at delivery points
- Handle items carefully to prevent damage
Delivery Support
- Verify goods against invoices or delivery notes
- Assist with customer deliveries and collections
- Ensure correct items are delivered
Driver Assistance
- Help with navigation and directions
- Support the driver during routes
Safety & Maintenance
- Secure cargo properly for safe transport
- Maintain cleanliness of the truck
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric)
Experience
- 2–3 years’ experience as a Truck Assistant

- Clean criminal record
- Good communication skills
- Available to start immediately
