Introduction
A leading agribusiness is seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst to support the planning, implementation, and optimisation of information systems that drive business operations. The role involves analysing business requirements, improving system performance, supporting users, and ensuring the organisation gains maximum value from its IT investments. Strong communication, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability are essential.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Systems Planning & Design
-
Assist in planning and designing new applications and enhancements to existing systems.

Meet with business leaders, system owners, and end users to gather requirements and clarify system goals.

Identify, analyse, and resolve business system issues.
-
Ensure compatibility and interoperability between internal and third-party systems.
2. System Evaluation & Improvement
-
Review current systems to assess effectiveness and efficiency.
-
Develop strategies for improving or better utilising existing systems.
-
Conduct research on hardware/software products to support procurement and recommend solutions.
-
Assist in deploying new or upgraded applications.
3. Technical Documentation & Modelling
-
Create system models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to guide programmers and developers.

Prepare technical documentation for system changes and implementations.
4. Testing, Training & Support
-
Coordinate and conduct in-depth testing for new or modified systems, including end-user testing.

Provide training, orientation, and ongoing support to users.
-
Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring issues.

Handle system-related financial reconciliations and enquiries.
-
Offer continuous support to ensure operational stability.
Minimum Experience & Qualifications
Education

Diploma or degree in:

Computer Science

Information Science
-
Management Information Systems
-
Accounting
-
Business Administration
-
-
+5 years relevant work experience.
Experience & Technical Requirements

Proven experience overseeing design and implementation of software/hardware systems.

Extensive experience with core software applications, including NAV & Business Central (BC).

Strong research ability for evaluating system tools and technologies.

Understanding of basic accounting principles.

Ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly language.
