    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    To lead a high-performing store team to meet business KPIs by:

    • Driving sales

    • Managing costs and stock loss

    • Ensuring operational excellence

    • Delivering exceptional customer service

    • Upholding world-class store standards

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Sales & Customer Service

      • Drive sales through excellent customer engagement and store presentation.

      • Implement promotions and ensure store image reflects brand standards.

    2. Stock & Cash Management

      • Minimise stock loss through security, stock handling, and accurate processes.

      • Follow proper cash handling procedures.

    3. Cost Control

      • Embrace PEP’s low-cost culture by improving store efficiencies.

    4. Team Leadership

      • Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate store staff.

      • Lead a dynamic team of “Dynamos” in line with PEP’s culture.

    5. Store Operations

      • Ensure admin tasks are completed according to PEP policies.

      • Maintain safety, housekeeping, and hygiene standards.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Requirement Details
    Education Grade 12 (Matric) is essential
    Tertiary Qualification Diploma or Degree in Business/Retail is advantageous
    Experience 1–2 years in a retail leadership role
    Languages Proficient in English (written & verbal)
    Technical Computer literacy (MS Office or Google GSuite preferred)
    Availability Willing to work retail hours including weekends
