PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To lead a high-performing store team to meet business KPIs by:

Driving sales

Managing costs and stock loss

Ensuring operational excellence

Delivering exceptional customer service

Upholding world-class store standards
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Customer Service
-
Drive sales through excellent customer engagement and store presentation.

Implement promotions and ensure store image reflects brand standards.
-

Stock & Cash Management
-
Minimise stock loss through security, stock handling, and accurate processes.
-
Follow proper cash handling procedures.
-

Cost Control
-
Embrace PEP’s low-cost culture by improving store efficiencies.
-

Team Leadership
-
Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate store staff.
-
Lead a dynamic team of “Dynamos” in line with PEP’s culture.
-

Store Operations
-
Ensure admin tasks are completed according to PEP policies.

Maintain safety, housekeeping, and hygiene standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

| Education | Grade 12 (Matric) is essential |
| Tertiary Qualification | Diploma or Degree in Business/Retail is advantageous |
| Experience | 1–2 years in a retail leadership role |
| Languages | Proficient in English (written & verbal) |
| Technical | Computer literacy (MS Office or Google GSuite preferred) |
| Availability | Willing to work retail hours including weekends |
