Job Overview
The Foschini Group is looking for a Store Manager to lead operations at the Exact store in Goldfields Mall, Welkom. The Store Manager will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing store operations, and delivering excellent customer service.
This role requires a results-driven retail professional who can effectively lead a team, control operational costs, manage stock levels, and implement merchandising strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail leadership and a strong ability to motivate staff while ensuring the store meets its financial and operational targets.
Job Description
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store while ensuring strong sales performance, excellent customer experience, and effective team leadership.
Key Responsibilities

Drive store turnover and ensure sales targets are achieved.

Monitor and control store expenses.

Manage stock losses and ensure shrinkage remains within company standards.

Recruit, train, and develop store staff.

Manage employee relations and performance within the team.

Implement and maintain in-store merchandising standards.

Ensure excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.

Execute the company’s customer service strategy.
Minimum Requirements

Matric (Grade 12) certificate.

Minimum 3 years retail experience.

At least 1 year of store leadership or management experience.
