    Job Overview:

    The Senior Data Team Lead (FSP) at IQVIA serves as the primary point of contact for customers on all data management deliverables across large, global clinical research programs. This role requires strong leadership, project management expertise, and technical proficiency in clinical data management (CDM) processes. The incumbent will oversee multiple global studies, lead data teams, drive process improvement, and ensure delivery excellence in line with IQVIA’s high standards and regulatory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the primary customer contact for data management deliverables on assigned studies or programs.

    • Lead and manage multiple large-scale global clinical data projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and compliance standards are met.

    • Provide leadership and mentorship to Data Team Leads (DTLs) across global programs.

    • Oversee workload projections, issue escalation, process improvement initiatives, and customer communications.

    • Lead direct negotiations with clients on timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.

    • Review, approve, and maintain Data Management Plans (DMPs) and related documentation.

    • Serve as an escalation point for unresolved data or operational issues.

    • Ensure appropriate resource allocation and adherence to project deliverables.

    • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on clinical data management technologies, standards, and practices.

    • Manage scope of work (SOW), budgets, and identify opportunities for process optimization.

    • Participate in the development and refinement of core operating procedures and best practices.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Health, Clinical, Biological, or Mathematical Sciences or related field.

    • Approximately 7+ years of direct data management experience, including 5+ years in project leadership roles.

    • Proven experience managing delivery of multiple global clinical trials (≥1000 patients).

    • Strong expertise in clinical data management processes, including SAE and external data vendor reconciliation.

    • In-depth knowledge of GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and regulatory guidelines.

    • Prior experience with customer negotiations and bid defense meetings.

    • Knowledge of Medical Terminology, Pharmacology, Anatomy, and Physiology.

    • Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to work independently and manage complex, multi-study environments.

    • Flexibility to work across global time zones.
