Job Description:
- Senwes Ltd., a leader in the agricultural sector, is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales Clerk: Parts to join its Agrifriend division in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring excellent customer service, promoting spare parts sales, and supporting operational efficiency through accurate stock management and supplier coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Build strong relationships with customers through knowledgeable and responsive service.

Identify customer needs and recommend the most suitable parts and solutions.

Handle customer queries, complaints, and warranty matters professionally.

Maintain supplier relationships to ensure smooth part procurement.

Sales & Marketing:
-
Plan and support marketing activities such as farmers’ days, product demos, and trade shows.

Engage in seasonal and targeted sales campaigns.

Perform counter sales and manage telephonic sales to new and existing customers.

Use catalogues and digital databases to accurately identify and recommend parts.

Report lost sales opportunities and support corrective action planning.

Operations & Administration:

Maintain a clean, organised sales area and implement merchandising standards.

Assist with stock picking, packing, inventory checks, and quarterly stock takes.

Ensure proper record-keeping of transactions, inventory movements, and customer interactions.

Prepare displays for promotions and manage product presentation.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:

National Senior Certificate (Matric)

Experience:
-
Minimum 1 year of experience in spare parts sales (agricultural or similar industry preferred)
- Competencies & Skills:

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail

Knowledge of agricultural equipment and spares (advantageous)

Ability to work both independently and within a team

Familiarity with inventory and stock control processes
