Job Overview:
DRD Solutions is urgently looking for a Regional Accountant to manage financial operations across six branches in the Free State and Northern Cape. This is a multi-site finance role requiring travel, strong accounting skills, and the ability to oversee branch-level financial processes, stock control, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and finalize monthly Flash results and month-end reports

Manage payroll processing (including preparing the payroll master and payment approvals)

Maintain asset registers for rental and fixed assets at all branches

Conduct branch visits, assist with stock takes, and prepare variance reports

Perform GL reconciliations

Submit all statutory returns

Oversee work of bookkeepers and creditor/cashbook clerks

Conduct internal audits and review compliance with company policies

Support budgeting and assist with year-end audit packs
Qualifications & Experience Required:
-
Matric with Accounting
-
BCom in Accounting Science
-
3+ years in a senior or regional accounting role

Experience in the rental industry (advantageous)

Strong Excel skills (advanced level)

Valid Code 8 driver’s license and own vehicle

Willingness and ability to travel regularly
