Job Purpose:
The Labour Law Consultant will be responsible for retaining and servicing clients in all matters related to labour law and industrial relations. This includes everything from day-to-day disciplinary actions to more complex IR processes like strike management and retrenchments.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients on all Labour Law and IR matters

Provide support and advice on:
-
Disciplinary inquiries (including chairing hearings)

Warnings, policy drafting, and implementation
-
Wage negotiations
-
Strike and retrenchment management
-

Draft legal documentation, recommendations, and provide clear client communication

Ensure scheduled client contact is maintained

Support clients in compliance with labour legislation
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in HR / Labour Relations / Industrial Relations / LLB or similar

Minimum 1 year experience in Industrial Relations / Labour Law consulting

Valid driver’s license and own transport required

Strong eagerness to grow in labour law and consultancy
