    Job Purpose

    To provide pharmaceutical care services within the scope of practice of a Qualified Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant (QPB) and to perform daily dispensary administration according to Clicks’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver exceptional customer service in the dispensary

    • Maintain accurate stock control, including repacking of medicines

    • Handle dispensary administration (filing, claims, records)

    • Assist with compounding of medication (as applicable)

    • Offer basic health advice to customers

    • Maintain merchandise displays and general housekeeping

    • Assist with ad hoc tasks as required operationally

    Minimum Requirements

    Education:

    • Matric / Grade 12 with Mathematics (Essential)

    Registration:

    • Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) as one of the following:

      • Qualified Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant (QPB)

      • (Alternatively, Learner Basic or Qualified Basic may be considered for similar future roles)

    Skills & Knowledge

    • SAPC regulations and legal compliance knowledge

    • Solid understanding of dispensary operations

    • Familiarity with health isle and OTC (Over-The-Counter) products

    • Basic calculations and numeracy

    • Proficient in MS Office and Business Operating Systems (e.g., SAP)

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

    • Ethical and professional conduct
