Job Overview:
Wintertide HR Solutions is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to manage end-to-end payroll functions, UIF and benefits administration, IRP5 reporting, and personnel file management. This is a detail-intensive role suited to a skilled professional with strong SAGE 300 and Excel experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Payroll Processing:
Full payroll process:
Capturing, validation, reconciliation
Handling payroll queries
2. UIF Management:
Submission of UIF declarations
UI19 administration and documentation
3. Employee Benefits Administration:
Capture and reconcile benefit contributions
Prepare payment files for the finance department
4. IRP5 Tax Documentation:
Export payroll reports for IRP5 generation
Assist with distribution of IRP5s
5. General HR Support:
Manage and update personnel files
Handle payroll-related employee queries
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
Matric / National Senior Certificate
Valid Driver’s Licence (Essential)
2–4 years of payroll experience
SAGE 300 experience (Essential)
Advantageous:
Relevant tertiary qualification in HR, Payroll, or Accounting
Knowledge & Competencies:
Advanced Excel skills
Proficiency in SAGE 300 People
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good time management and organizational abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality
