Job Description
The Officer Compliance is responsible for providing effective and efficient risk, governance and compliance support services within the business units. The position supports the implementation and monitoring of compliance standards, assists business units with relevant processes and provides guidance aligned with regulatory requirements, policies and organisational procedures.
The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively across different levels of the organisation, provide compliance integration support and respond to ad-hoc business and customer requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business units regarding relevant business processes.
- Provide effective and efficient compliance integration support.
- Implement compliance standards aligned with relevant procedures and directives across other disciplines.
- Support risk, governance and compliance activities within the business.
- Provide customer service by responding to and resolving ad-hoc requests.
- Assist with compliance monitoring and reporting activities.
- Support the alignment of business practices with applicable regulatory requirements, policies and standards.
Minimum Requirements
Qualification
Applicants must have:
- National Diploma at NQF Level 6 with 240 credits in one of the following fields:
- Law
- Real Estate
- Finance
- Auditing
- Engineering
- Sciences
- Human Resources
Experience
- 3 years’ related experience in areas such as:
- Governance and risk management
- Regulatory compliance monitoring and reporting
- Project management
