Job Description
The Nursing Assistant Grade 1 will provide elementary clinical nursing care in accordance with the applicable scope of practice and nursing standards. The successful candidates will also work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the delivery of quality nursing care.
Responsibilities
- Perform elementary clinical nursing practice according to the applicable scope of practice.
- Adhere to nursing standards determined by the relevant health facility.
- Promote quality elementary nursing care in accordance with professional nursing standards.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of quality nursing care.
- Comply with the professional scope of practice when performing nursing duties.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate.
- Appropriate qualification that allows current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant.
- Current registration with SANC.
