    Job Description

    Hyundai Bloemfontein is seeking a Sales Manager to lead its Used Vehicle Sales Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing a team of Sales Executives, ensuring stock optimization, and maximizing profitability while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring customer retention.

    Key Responsibilities

    Sales & Profitability

    • Maximize unit sales and profitability in line with targets and forecasts

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and processes

    • Review pricing policies, discounts, and trade-in processes to maintain profitability

    Team Management

    • Lead, mentor, and motivate the used vehicle sales team

    • Ensure Sales Executives receive training on new model launches

    • Establish correct staffing levels and oversee performance

    Stock & Compliance

    • Ensure optimum stock levels aligned with dealership policies

    • Monitor floorplan activities and control direct/indirect costs

    • Maintain product display materials and ensure vehicle delivery quality

    Customer Service & Satisfaction

    • Address and resolve customer complaints promptly

    • Ensure customer satisfaction targets are consistently met

    • Support the sale of value-added back-end products

    Qualifications

    Minimum:

    • Matric / Senior Certificate (Grade 12)

    Preferred:

    • Relevant tertiary qualification (NQF 6+ in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management)

    Experience Required

    • Minimum 8 years of vehicle sales experience in the automotive industry

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales team leadership or management role

    • Proven sales performance and understanding of target-driven environments

    • Experience in pre-owned vehicle sales is essential

    • Familiarity with dealership compliance, pricing, and stock management processes
