Job Description
Hyundai Bloemfontein is seeking a Sales Manager to lead its Used Vehicle Sales Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing a team of Sales Executives, ensuring stock optimization, and maximizing profitability while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring customer retention.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Profitability

Maximize unit sales and profitability in line with targets and forecasts

Develop and implement effective sales strategies and processes

Review pricing policies, discounts, and trade-in processes to maintain profitability
Team Management
-
Lead, mentor, and motivate the used vehicle sales team

Ensure Sales Executives receive training on new model launches
-
Establish correct staffing levels and oversee performance
Stock & Compliance
-
Ensure optimum stock levels aligned with dealership policies
-
Monitor floorplan activities and control direct/indirect costs
-
Maintain product display materials and ensure vehicle delivery quality
Customer Service & Satisfaction

Address and resolve customer complaints promptly

Ensure customer satisfaction targets are consistently met

Support the sale of value-added back-end products
Qualifications
Minimum:
-
Matric / Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
Preferred:
-
Relevant tertiary qualification (NQF 6+ in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management)
Experience Required
-
Minimum 8 years of vehicle sales experience in the automotive industry

Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales team leadership or management role

Proven sales performance and understanding of target-driven environments

Experience in pre-owned vehicle sales is essential

Familiarity with dealership compliance, pricing, and stock management processes
