Job Description
Eskom is offering Learner Artisan apprenticeship opportunities at Lethabo Power Station in Deneysville, Free State.
Successful candidates will receive institutionalised and on-the-job training designed to provide practical experience and develop the technical skills required for a career as an artisan within Eskom’s operations.
Applicants who successfully complete the recruitment process may be placed within Eskom Operations across the relevant divisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in institutionalised artisan training.
- Complete on-the-job training as required.
- Gain practical exposure to relevant maintenance and technical activities.
- Apply technical knowledge in accordance with Eskom policies and procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following qualification requirements:
- National N6 Certificate with trade subjects in:
- Mechanical
- Electrical
- Control and Instrumentation
- National N4/N5 Certificate with trade subjects.
- Grade 12 with:
- Mathematics: 50%
- Physical Science: 50%
- English: 40%
- N3 with:
- Mathematics: 50%
- Science: 50%
- English: 40%
- NCV Level 4 with:
- Mathematics: 50%
- Science: 50%
- English: 40%
