Job Purpose:
As an Agronomy Specialist, your role is to support distributors and agents with technical crop protection advice, not direct sales. You’ll act as a trusted expert, helping growers and agents maximize crop performance through education, product demonstrations, and strategic guidance.
Minimum Qualifications:

Diploma / BAgric / BSc in:
-
Agronomy
-
Plant Pathology
-
Entomology
-
Or a closely related agricultural field

Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide in-field technical support on crop protection products
-
Conduct product demonstrations and gather feedback
-
Deliver training and host field days with agents and growers
-
Advise on integrated agronomy solutions for emerging crop issues

Build long-term relationships with distributors, agents, and farmers
-
Promote product adoption through credibility, not price
-
Collaborate across functional teams while managing work independently
Experience & Skills Required:
-
2+ years in the agricultural crop protection industry

Deep understanding of both technical and business aspects of crop inputs

Experience working directly with farmers, dealers, and agents

Proficient in identifying and solving agronomic challenges

Strong cross-functional collaboration and independent work ethic
