    Job Overview

    Smollan is looking for a Field Manager III to join its Unilever Field Sales team in Bethlehem. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading field sales operations, managing teams, driving promotional activities, and ensuring sales targets and operational objectives are achieved within the FMCG environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Operational Excellence

    • Drive pro-active operational excellence across field operations

    • Monitor and control operational expenses

    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

    2. Sales & Target Achievement

    • Ensure achievement of sales targets and POP objectives

    • Manage and execute promotional activities effectively

    • Monitor and implement new product innovations

    3. People Management

    • Lead and manage field teams effectively

    • Encourage teamwork, accountability, and self-management

    • Provide coaching and support to improve performance

    4. Stakeholder Engagement

    • Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

    • Communicate effectively with sales teams and partners

    Minimum Requirements

    Experience

    • 4–5 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry

    • Experience at managerial or supervisory level

    Qualifications

    • Relevant Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6 or 7)

    Other Requirements

    • Valid Code 8 driver’s license

    • Computer literacy
