Job Overview
Eduvos is seeking a Facilities Administrator to join its Bloemfontein Campus on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support to the Campus Facilities team, helping ensure efficient day-to-day facilities management, maintenance, health and safety compliance and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative duties, including data capturing, filing and recordkeeping.
- Provide operational support for daily maintenance activities.
- Act as the Health and Safety Coordinator, ensuring relevant requirements are followed.
- Complete OHSA reporting.
- Update and monitor the equipment inspection matrix.
- Maintain records of health and safety appointments and certifications.
- Monitor contractor service levels, including security, cleaning and maintenance.
- Support other departments with special projects and annual campus events, such as:
- Open Days
- Student induction
- Enrolment
- Parent evenings
- Other campus events
- Assist with managing the campus cleaning team.
Minimum Requirements
Qualification:
- National Diploma or relevant qualification in Facilities Management, Property Management or a related field will be advantageous.
Experience:
- At least 2 years’ experience in an administrative role.
- Previous property or facilities experience will be advantageous.
- Previous health and safety training, including fire, first aid and SHE, will be advantageous.
Functional Competencies
Candidates should have:
- Practical knowledge of administrative duties such as filing and data capturing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of OHSA.
- Knowledge and experience using facilities management solutions such as Pragma will be advantageous.
