Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to:
- Market and sell the company’s merchandise
- Assist customers with product information and purchases
- Manage and replenish stock
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
- Support efficient branch operations and customer satisfaction
Main Responsibilities
Product Marketing and Sales
- Promote and market products to customers.
- Assist customers in selecting suitable products.
- Achieve agreed sales and merchandising targets.
- Build positive customer relationships.
Stock Management
- Monitor stock levels and ensure products are always available.
- Replenish shelves and merchandising displays when required.
- Assist with stock control and inventory management.
- Ensure merchandise is displayed neatly and attractively.
Customer Service
- Assist customers with queries and provide solutions within the approved mandate.
- Deliver professional and friendly customer service.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
Branch and Housekeeping Support
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
- Support general branch operational duties.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and standards.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
Experience
- Experience in a relevant field will be advantageous
