Job Overview

Rosebank International, part of the ADvTECH Group, is seeking a passionate Human Resources Management Lecturer to join its Bloemfontein campus.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lectures, supporting students throughout the academic cycle, preparing students for assessments and monitoring academic performance. The role also involves identifying at-risk students, managing academic resources and contributing to teaching and learning improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver lectures according to module requirements and academic schedules.
Engage with students and provide academic support.
Manage academic resources and liaise with the Information Centre.
Keep the Learning Management System (LMS) updated.
Provide constructive feedback to students.
Prepare students for assessments and monitor their progress.
Identify and support students who may be academically at risk.
Develop assessments in line with Central Academic Team requirements.
Monitor student engagement and assessment submissions.
Escalate student concerns and issues when required.
Attend and participate in academic meetings.
Review and analyse student module results.
Assist with identifying and monitoring at-risk modules.
Participate in academic professional development initiatives.
Contribute to improving teaching and learning practices.

Minimum Requirements

Experience:

At least 2 years’ lecturing or tutoring experience.
1–3 years’ industry-specific experience in Human Resources Management will be advantageous.

Qualifications

Applicants must have one of the following:

Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, OR
Honours Degree in a Business-related field with Industrial Psychology or Labour Law, and Human Resource Management up to second-year level, OR
Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (HRM).

Working Hours

Classes are scheduled between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday. Actual working hours will depend on the modules allocated to the successful candidate.
