Job Overview
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Health Consultant specialising in Vitamins and Supplements for its new Ficksburg store.
The successful candidate will promote and sell Dis-Chem Health Focus products while providing customers with excellent service and knowledgeable advice on vitamins, supplements and other health-focused products.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Promote and sell Health Focus products.
- Assist with back shopping when required.
- Ensure Health Focus merchandise is fully stocked and properly displayed.
- Report price discrepancies to management.
- Maintain the required Health Department store layouts.
- Ensure broadsheet promotional items are properly displayed and available.
- Implement promotional displays and merchandising materials.
- Work towards and achieve monthly team, brand and vendor sales targets.
- Keep up to date with new products and product lines.
- Follow Health Department administrative procedures.
- Assist with weekly returns, stock control and monitoring stock levels.
Minimum Requirements
Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- At least 6 months’ sales experience in a Vitamins / Health environment.
- Strong command of English.
- Computer literacy, particularly MS Office.
- Sound numerical skills.
- Willingness and ability to work retail hours.
Advantageous:
- BSc Biomedicine, BSc Biotechnology or another relevant health-focused qualification.
- Retail sales experience.
- Experience in the health industry, particularly vitamins, supplements or health foods.
- Fluency in a second language commonly spoken in the area.
