Job Overview
Rosebank International, part of The Independent Institute of Education (The IIE), is seeking qualified and passionate Lecturers in Public Administration/Management to support its academic growth in Bloemfontein.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lectures, supporting students throughout their academic journey, preparing students for assessments and monitoring academic performance.
Job Purpose
The Lecturer will teach an agreed number of hours based on their module specialisation. The role includes preparing students for assessments, tracking module progress, identifying and supporting at-risk students, providing general academic and administrative support, and developing assessments in collaboration with the Central Academic Team.
The Lecturer will also assist the Programme Coordinator with monitoring and analysing academic results to evaluate module performance and identify modules requiring additional support.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and engage students according to module-specific requirements and module pacers.
- Manage academic resources and materials in consultation with the Information Centre.
- Keep the learning management system updated.
- Provide constructive feedback to students.
- Prepare students for assessments and monitor their academic progress.
- Identify at-risk students and provide appropriate academic support.
- Develop assessments in accordance with Central Academic Team requirements.
- Monitor student engagement and assessment submissions.
- Escalate student concerns and academic issues when necessary.
- Attend and participate in academic meetings across faculties.
- Review and analyse student module results.
- Assist with monitoring at-risk students within allocated modules.
- Participate in academic professional development activities.
- Contribute to improving teaching and learning practices.
- Maintain and develop your own professional academic status.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree, Honours or Master’s qualification in Public Administration or Management.
- 2–3 years of lecturing or formal tutoring experience.
- 1–3 years of industry-specific experience in the relevant area of specialisation will be advantageous.
- Qualification should be at least one NQF level higher than the qualification being taught.
- Copy of academic transcript.

Working Hours
Classes are scheduled between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday.
Actual working hours will depend on the modules allocated to the successful candidate.
