Role Purpose
This role focuses on stock control and merchandising, ensuring shelves are always fully stocked, neat, and customer-ready while delivering good customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Restock shelves to maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure products are:
- Correctly displayed
- Properly labelled with pricing
- Within expiry dates
- Maintain clean and organised shelves and displays
- Rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out)
- Report:
- Low stock
- Damaged or expired items
- Assist with:
- Stocktaking
- Loading/offloading deliveries
- Back shopping
- Help customers with queries and product assistance
- Follow store standards, safety rules, and procedures
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Up to 6 months retail experience
- Basic computer skills (MS Office)
- Willing to work retail hours
Advantageous
- 1+ year retail experience
- Knowledge of merchandising or FMCG
- Bilingual ability
