Job Description
Fidelity Services Group is seeking a Box Room Operator for its Welkom Branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for the receiving, sorting, balancing and distribution of consignments within the vault room and supporting the secure movement of Cash-in-Transit (CIT) schedules.
The role requires a highly organised and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a high-risk environment while following strict security and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare for vault room duties.
- Plan and manage vault room CIT schedules.
- Receive consignments from bulk and team vehicles.
- Sort consignments for distribution to CIT teams.
- Balance the vault and ensure it is properly secured and locked.
- Distribute consignments for bulk movement.
- Ensure the security and controlled movement of CIT schedules during transit.
- Perform duties in accordance with company security and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Grade 12, Matric Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Cash-in-Transit (CIT) environment will be an advantage.
- At least 1 year of vault room experience will be an advantage.
- Must be fully bilingual.
- Computer literate – compulsory.
- CIT Grade qualification.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-risk environment.
