Project Objective
The objective of this tender is to procure reliable 10Gbps managed bandwidth connectivity links for the Free State Extensions network over either:
- A 5-year fixed-price contract, or
- A 10-year fixed-price contract
The project aims to provide stable, high-capacity connectivity between specified network sites.
Scope of Work
The successful bidder will provide managed bandwidth links between:
- CUT Welkom
- UNISA Kroonstad
- ARC AGI
- UFS Qwa-Qwa
- TERACO Durban
The scope also includes:
- Cross-connect services between supplier and CSIR infrastructure
- Monitoring and maintenance services
- Permanent repairs and support
- Service level agreement (SLA) management

- Provision of reliable 10Gbps bandwidth links
- Long-term network stability and uptime
- Managed service support

Skills & Experience Required
