Job Purpose
To manage and oversee the daily operations of the cash centre, ensuring that all deposits are:
- Verified accurately
- Balanced correctly
- Processed according to contractual agreements
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Previous cash centre experience (advantage)
- Strong ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent people management and time management skills
- Professional client interaction skills
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
- Oversee the entire cash centre daily operations
- Ensure all deposits are balanced and processed correctly
2. Staff Management
- Manage and supervise staff performance
- Handle and resolve staff-related challenges
3. Financial Control & Queries
- Resolve treasury and teller discrepancies
- Ensure all cash differences are investigated and resolved
4. Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Provide feedback to clients
- Liaise with support departments
5. Compliance & Risk Management
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Identify and mitigate operational risks
