Job Description
The Sales Representative: Parts is responsible for driving sales of automotive parts by building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service. The role also involves working closely with the Parts Department to ensure product availability while meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers in the automotive industry.
- Promote and sell automotive parts products.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and company goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Expand the customer base through proactive sales activities.
Customer Service
- Provide outstanding customer service and support.
- Respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Inventory Coordination
- Work closely with the Parts Department.
- Ensure adequate inventory levels and product availability.
- Assist in resolving stock-related customer requirements.
Sales Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records.
- Prepare sales reports and related documentation.
- Follow company sales processes and administrative procedures.
Market Awareness
- Stay informed about:

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification.
- A tertiary qualification (college degree) will be an advantage.
- At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in:
- The automotive industry
- A related sales environment
- A valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
