     Job Purpose

    To provide administrative and secretarial support to the Chief Financial Officer, ensuring the efficient functioning of the CFO’s office and effective communication, document management, and coordination of activities.

     Key Responsibilities

     Administrative Support

    • Manage the CFO’s schedule and engagements to improve service delivery
    • Ensure efficient flow of information and documents to/from the CFO’s office
    • Compile and distribute confidential documents, cabinet memoranda, and correspondence
    • Conduct research for the CFO as needed
    • Handle travel arrangements and assist with personal matters of the CFO

     Document & Records Management

    • Keep records of all documents, memoranda, and correspondence handled by the CFO
    • Ensure safekeeping of documentation in line with Archive Legislation

     Office Efficiency & Budgeting

    • Set up and maintain office systems to improve efficiency
    • Compile and monitor the office budget to ensure effective and efficient use of funds
    • Promote professional behavior and ethics in the office

     Supervision & Coordination

    • Oversee the work of subordinates in the CFO’s office
    • Ensure coordination of activities, manage performance, and address staff development needs

     Minimum Requirements

     Qualifications

    • National Diploma or equivalent (NQF Level 6) in a relevant field
    • Secretarial qualification is highly recommended

     Experience & Skills

    • At least 2 years’ experience in a secretarial or administrative role
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Computer literacy
    • Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
