JOB OVERVIEW
Job Title: HR Support Officer
Company: Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA)
Location: Bloemfontein
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:
Assist with daily HR operations and administrative tasks
Handle internal and external HR-related inquiries
Support recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes
Ensure compliance with labour legislation and streamline HR processes
Contribute to employee relations and wellness initiatives
Support payroll processing and annual submissions (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment -BBBEE, Skills Development, Employment Equity)
Coordinate various HR projects and initiatives
Qualifications:
Preferably a 3-year qualification in Human Resources with at least 3 years of HR experience
OR Grade 12 with 8+ years proven experience in an HR rolePrior working experience with VIP Payroll (essential)
Strong understanding of HR legislation: Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), (Employment Equity Act (EEA), Labour Relations Act (LRA), Skills Development Act
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software systems
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Detail-oriented with strong discretion in handling sensitive information
Code 8 Driver’s Licence and own transport (advantageous)
Non-smoker
