Job Description: Housekeeping – Welkom, Free State
Hollywoodbets is looking to hire a dedicated Housekeeping individual to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of their Welkom branch. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the building in a clean and orderly condition at all times, ensuring both customers and staff enjoy a pleasant environment. This role requires the successful candidate to be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to perform cleaning tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Housekeeper, the individual will be tasked with a variety of duties to keep the Hollywoodbets branch clean and presentable. These include but are not limited to:

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Maintaining cleanliness in all areas of the branch, including the inside, outside, and car park.

Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming floors as needed.

Cleaning walls, tables, counters, chairs, TV screens, furniture, and light fixtures.

Ensuring that service areas remain neat and tidy throughout the day.

Keeping the toilets and other restrooms clean and hygienic.

Waste Management:

Collecting and disposing of refuse.

Emptying, washing, and sanitizing bins, as well as replacing them with new refuse bags.

Properly disposing of waste while adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

Equipment Maintenance:

Maintaining gaming tables and chairs, ensuring seat covers are intact and requesting replacements when necessary.

Reporting any broken or damaged equipment to the Branch Manager.

Air Conditioning Maintenance:

Cleaning the air conditioning filters weekly to ensure the system is running efficiently and maintaining a comfortable atmosphere in the branch.
