Job Description
Fidelity Services Group is recruiting Armed Response Officers for the Welkom area. The role involves providing armed security response services, protecting residential and estate environments, and responding to alarm activations and security incidents.
The successful candidate must be physically fit, disciplined, alert, and able to work in high-pressure situations while maintaining professional security standards.
Main Responsibilities
The Armed Response Officer will:
- Respond to alarm activations and emergency incidents
- Patrol residential and estate areas
- Protect clients, property, and assets
- Ensure rapid and professional response to security threats
- Follow security procedures and operational protocols
- Conduct security checks and patrols
- Work shifts and remain operationally ready
- Maintain compliance with firearm and security regulations
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Grade B PSIRA accreditation and registration with Response
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the security industry
- No criminal record
- Willingness to undergo regular criminal checks
- Driver’s license
- Firearm Competency Certificate:
- Handgun for Business Purposes
Additional Requirements
Candidates should:
- Be physically fit and in good health
- Not be afraid of heights
- Have residential or estate security experience
- Be computer literate (advantageous)
