Job Description
Absa Bank Limited is looking for an experienced and high-performing Financial Adviser who is fully FAIS Fit & Proper compliant.
This is a commission-based role suited for a driven financial professional who:
- Has strong sales and advisory experience

The role involves providing professional financial planning and advisory services while helping clients with:

Main Responsibilities
Financial Advisory Services
The successful candidate will:
- Provide holistic financial planning advice
- Assess client financial needs

Client Relationship Management
Responsibilities include:
- Building long-term client relationships
- Managing existing client portfolios
- Providing excellent customer service
- Maintaining regular client communication
Business Development
The adviser will:

Compliance and Industry Knowledge
The candidate must:
- Maintain full FAIS compliance

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
Qualifications and Certifications
- Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in:
- Business,
- Commerce, or
- Management Studies
- RE5 Certification (essential)
- Full FAIS Fit & Proper compliance (non-negotiable)
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as:
- Financial Adviser, or
- Similar advisory role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Financial services industry experience
