Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and oversight for student academic development, staff development, curriculum design, and e-learning

Assist in the formulation, analysis, and implementation of teaching and learning policies and procedures
-
Manage academic development support services and ensure delivery excellence
-
Lead, manage, and develop staff within the Centre
-
Promote research to enhance teaching and learning quality
-
Oversee budget planning and management, including external funding for academic support initiatives
-
Implement performance monitoring systems and ensure reporting on key outputs
-
Represent the Centre and the university at internal and external academic forums
Qualifications:
-
Appropriate Doctoral Degree (required)
-
Minimum of five (5) years’ leadership experience in a higher education environment
-
Proven academic teaching experience with excellence in research and teaching
-
Accredited scholarly publications
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Doctoral degree with a professorship (full or associate preferred)
-
Minimum of eight (8) years’ leadership experience in a higher education environment
-
Strong research portfolio with a record of academic excellence
