    Job Description

    You will work with digital learning systems (like LMS platforms) to:

    • Help manage and run online assessments
    • Support lecturers and students with technical issues
    • Assist in creating and managing online tests and question banks
    • Provide training on how to use online assessment tools

     Key Responsibilities

    1. Academic Development

    • Schedule and manage online assessments
    • Handle system administration tasks
    • Assist with research project administration

    2. Curriculum Design (Important part of the job)

    • Create and manage online question banks
    • Upload and organize assessments
    • Analyse results and generate reports
    • Support lecturers with assessment design

    3. Student Support

    • Help students with technical issues
    • Troubleshoot problems with the system
    • Escalate complex issues when needed

    4. Training & Development

    • Train staff and students on the system
    • Assist with workshops on assessment tools
    • Keep up with new educational technologies

     Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12 (Matric)

     Recommended

    • Diploma or Degree (especially in Education, IT, or related field)
    • At least 1 year experience in:
      • Learning Management Systems (like Moodle, Blackboard)
      • Training or administration
      • Higher education environment

     Key Skills Needed

    • Good computer skills (especially MS Office)
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask
    • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Good communication and teamwork
    • Ability to stay calm under pressure

     Salary & Benefits

    • Salary: R240,866 – R403,692 per year
