Job Description
Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited is looking for a customer-focused Cosmetic Consultant to promote and sell cosmetic, fragrance, and beauty products at their Langenhoven store in Bloemfontein.
The role focuses on:
- Customer service
- Product promotion
- Beauty consultations

The successful candidate must be passionate about beauty products and able to provide professional customer assistance while achieving sales targets.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Cosmetic Consultant will be responsible for:
Customer Service
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Assist customers with beauty and cosmetic product selections
- Handle customer complaints and escalate unresolved issues to management
Product Promotion and Sales
- Promote and sell cosmetic and beauty products
- Conduct:
- Makeovers
- Cosmetic demonstrations
- Spray promotions
- Beauty activities
- Achieve sales targets for brands and departments
- Increase store income through effective selling
Stock and Merchandising
- Monitor stock levels
- Report damaged, expired, or missing stock
- Ensure proper stock rotation
- Maintain attractive product displays and merchandising standards
Administration and Operations
- Manage salon appointments
- Keep updated on beauty products and retail trends
- Follow Dis-Chem policies, procedures, SOPs, and health and safety regulations
Minimum Requirements
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- Retail sales experience as a sales consultant
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work retail hours
