Responsibilities:

Lead institution-wide ICT operations and digital transformation initiatives

Develop and implement the digital transformation strategy

Oversee IT governance, procurement, budgeting, vendor management, and staff development

Drive technology innovation to support academic and administrative priorities

Ensure compliance, security, and operational efficiency of all ICT systems
Qualifications:
-
Minimum: Postgraduate degree (NQF 8) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a senior ICT leadership role

Strong track record of strategic planning, IT implementation, and operational management
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree (NQF 9) in a related field
-
15+ years of ICT experience, including 10 years in senior management
-
5+ years of experience as a CIO or equivalent leadership role

Proven experience in ICT governance, HR management, and enterprise systems
Salary: R1 801 169 per annum (Total Cost to Company)
