Key Responsibilities:

Process cash, card, and electronic payments efficiently and accurately

Provide receipts and ensure correct pricing and quantities

Operate cash registers, scanners, and other point-of-sale systems

Keep transaction records and reports up to date

Greet customers warmly when entering or exiting the store

Assist customers with locating products and provide recommendations

Maintain a clean and organized checkout area

Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally

Work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment

Ensure overall customer satisfaction through service excellence
Minimum Requirements:

Matric / Grade 12

2–3 years of experience in a retail cashier or sales environment

Basic computer skills and knowledge of point-of-sale systems

Strong communication and time management abilities

Good attention to detail and numerical skills

Must be customer-focused with a pleasant and helpful attitude

Physically able to stand, walk, and lift light items as needed

Basic sales skills are advantageous
