Key Responsibilities
- Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle faults.
- Perform servicing and repairs on vehicles in an efficient and timely manner.
- Conduct road tests on repaired vehicles when necessary.
- Adhere to workshop quality, safety, and security procedures at all times.
- Work diligently to meet required efficiency and productivity standards.
- Report any additional vehicle faults not listed on the job card.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Matric Certificate).
- N3 with a Trade Test Certificate as an Auto Electrician.

- Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly motivated.
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team environment.
- Strong customer focus with a results-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both oral and written).
- EC or EC1 driver’s license.
- Willingness and ability to work on standby when required.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with a Trade Certificate in the heavy commercial vehicle industry.
- At least 1 year of experience working with MAN and/or VW heavy commercial vehicles.
