    Key Responsibilities

    As a Temporary Parts Store Clerk, you will:

    • Attend daily planning meetings regarding maintenance and spare parts requirements.
    • Manage spare parts inventory and maintain appropriate stock levels.
    • Organise and monitor stock and inventory effectively.
    • Source quality spare parts from suppliers at competitive prices.
    • Issue spare parts and equipment to maintenance artisans.
    • Collect locally sourced parts when required.
    • Receive incoming stock and verify invoices, purchase orders, and delivery documentation.
    • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe spare parts storage area.
    • Monitor lubricant stock levels.
    • Capture maintenance worksheets and complete job card administration.
    • Maintain ISO documentation, checklists, and filing systems.
    • Process delivery paperwork and capture records on Business Central (BC).
    • Operate a forklift when moving heavy equipment and machinery.
    • Perform manual handling and lifting of spare parts and equipment.
    • Assist with general housekeeping, site maintenance, painting, and other duties assigned by management.

    Minimum Requirements

    Applicants should have:

    • Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF Level 4 qualification.
    • A certificate in Stock Control (advantageous).
    • At least 2 years’ experience as a Parts Store Clerk or in a similar role.
    • Valid Code B driver’s licence.
    • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical spare parts.
    • Microsoft Office proficiency.
    • Good physical fitness to perform lifting and manual handling tasks.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
