Key Responsibilities
As a Barista, you will:
- Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages according to standard recipes.
- Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
- Assist customers with beverage selections and product recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, equipment, and customer service areas.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and hygiene standards.
- Complete operational and cleaning checklists.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Contribute to creating a welcoming and enjoyable customer experience.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or an NQF Level 4 qualification.
- Previous barista or hospitality experience (advantageous).
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in a busy environment.
