- Provide accurate, reliable on-the-spot oil analysis
- Support improved fault detection and maintenance planning
- Replace broken online analysers and maintain continuous transformer monitoring
- Establish a robust testing regime until new online analysers are fully deployed
Scope of Work
- Supply portable gas analysers compatible with mineral and ester-based insulating oils
- Use analysers to improve DGA sampling frequency and reliability
- Study and interpret results, escalate issues, and consult specialists as needed
- Comply with technical, safety, environmental, and operational standards during supply, delivery, and commissioning
- Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support for effective analyser use
Technical Requirements
Portable gas analysers must:
- Deliver accurate and reliable on-the-spot oil analysis results
- Be compatible with mineral oils and ester-based fluids (natural and synthetic)
- Include integrated thermal printer for hard-copy sample records
- Feature HMI touchscreen interface and internal storage for record-keeping
- Have USB connectivity for database download
- Be portable (≤ 9kg)
- Meet the specifications in “Technical Standard for Permanently Fixed and Portable Gas Analysers for Power Transformers and Reactors” Rev 2, Feb 2030
- Support flexible sampling frequencies as required by engineering specialists
Skills & Qualifications
Personnel operating the analysers must have:
- Technical skills in operating portable gas analysers and interpreting DGA results
- Knowledge of transformer health monitoring and gas analysis principles
