Job Description
Power Fashion is looking for a Store Manager to lead the store team and drive overall store performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising sales and turnover, managing stock and expenses, achieving store targets, maintaining operational standards, and delivering excellent customer service.
The Store Manager will also oversee staff management and training while ensuring that company policies, procedures, cleanliness and hygiene standards are consistently maintained.
Responsibilities
- Promote and drive sales to maximise store turnover.
- Manage stock effectively and control expenses.
- Achieve and/or exceed the required store targets.
- Use store resources effectively to maintain productivity.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of stock management policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Manage, train and develop store employees.
- Promote a respectful and professional company culture.
- Ensure customers receive an above-average level of customer service.
- Monitor the cleanliness and hygiene of the store and staff.
- Ensure the store complies with relevant legislation and company standards.
- Maintain effective day-to-day store operations.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
- Mathematics will be an advantage.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Retail Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager role.
- Experience in a similar retail environment will be advantageous.
- Excellent business English, both verbal and written.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Good understanding of retail operations, stock management and sales.
- Ability to manage store targets and control expenses.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work according to company policies and procedures.
